Working together to build a COVID-19 immunized community, nurse vaccinators, nurses under the Nurse Deployment Program (NDP), and employees of the Department of Health Ilocos Center for Health Development particularly health allied professionals together with barangay health workers, municipal health office staff, barangay officials, and local government employees, continue to provide its full support for the Bayanihan Bakunahan in the Province of Pangasinan.
As the vaccination continues, teams were formed in order to reach various vaccination sites and barangays including those in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA) to ramp up the COVID-19 vaccination and reach the unattainable eligible individuals specifically unvaccinated Senior Citizens. The vaccination activities inoculated a total of 36,540 individuals from February 1-6, 2022 increasing the vaccination coverage of Pangasinan to 77.26% based on the 80% target population.
